Can I control the sound bar with my Apple TV remote?

Hi Marfaith2! You can adjust the HW-A430 Soundbar volume using the TV’s remote control. This function can be used with IR remote controls only. Bluetooth remote controls (remote controls that require pairing) are not supported. Set the TV speaker to External Speaker to use this function. 1) Turn Off the Soundbar. 2) Push up and hold the WOOFER button for 5 seconds. Each time you push the WOOFER button up and hold it for 5 seconds, the mode switches in the following order: “Samsung-TV Remote” (Default mode), “Off-TV Remote”, “All-TV Remote”. How do you use the USB connection to connect to my TV or my computer? I get nothing from it.

Hi dmitche3! The USB connection for the HW-A430 is not designed to connect the device to the TV or PC, rather to load music files or a firmware update to the soundbar. The HW-A430 can connect to an external device for audio via digital optical audio or Bluetooth wireless audio technology.

how do I hook up my sound bar, can't figure it out

Hi julie40! The AU8000 can connect to a soundbar via HDMI ARC, digital optical audio, or Bluetooth wireless audio technology. Simply connect the cable from your soundbar to your TV and the TV will automatically detect and switch to the correct sound output.
