My son has a 10 year old Samsung 42 inch TV will this work with this TV

Hi Lem1995! Depending on the model TV, it may be compatible. Most Samsung TVs feature a digital optical audio output. Check the back of your TV or consult the user manual if needed to determine if your TV features a digital optical audio output for compatibility with this soundbar.

Just purchased a 65" LG TV, how hard is it to hook this up to my TV? And is this compatible with my LG?

Hi Rick! This soundbar is compatible with TVs that support digital optical audio or Bluetooth wireless audio technology. If your LG TV supports one of these two audio technologies it will be compatible with the soundbar. The soundbar is quick and easy to setup, simply connect the included power cables to both the subwoofer and soundbar, then connect the soundbar to your TV using one of the compatible connections. Once the soundbar is powered on, it will wirelessly connect to the subwoofer and you are ready to enjoy. ^Tim

The volume stays only on 19 and wouldn't turn up.seems like the remote is defective
