I know that Acorn TV is not supported on the Samsung TV now. Can I make it work if I add a Roku to the TV or if I switch to the Amazon Prime add-on version of Acorn?

Hi Mela! If your favorite app is not available on the AU8000 there are a couple other ways you can get your streaming content on the big screen. You can take advantage of the built in screen mirror functionality with an Android or Apple mobile device. You can also utilize an external streaming device and connect it to one of the three available HDMI ports on the TV.

I have a four-inch tall sound bar. How far from a table surface will the lower edge of the picture (not the bottom of the bezel) be? In other words, (the distance from the table top to the bottom of the bezel + the bezel thickness) = ? Thanks.

How do you add apps to the TV such as sling Paramount etc

Hi Grimm - To access the App Store, press the Home button to open up the TV's Home screen menu. If the app you are looking for isn't listed on the Home menu, use the directional pad to navigate to and select APPS. From here, you can select the app you want. ^Gina

Does this have HDMI 2.1 so it can be used with the new gaming Systems like Xbox Series X/S to get 120hz refresh rate on games? If it does not what TVs in the Samsung line up has 2.1 HDMI ? HDMI 2.1 is a very big feature now it should be in the specs

Can I access the PBS Passport app through this set?

If you cannot find the app you are looking for at this time, rest assured that we are continuously adding more premium content and new services to our Smart TV platform.
