On my Samsung 55" I use the audio input to connect headphones (Sennheiser RS120). This connectivity works fine (wireless). However, if I use this soundbar and connect to the optical port will the headphone connectivity be useless.

Hi Philpart! Samsung TVs are compatible with one physical audio output at a time, such as HDMI or digital optical audio. If you are using the HW-S40T connected to the TV via optical, you will no longer receive audio through the headphones. ^Tim

Can this soundbar be used with sonos, bose, or echo speakers to have surrond sound or whole-house audion?
