Hi Keith! Though it is recommended to shut off the water supply prior to changing the water filter, it is not required. The water filter housing has a flap that will close when the filter is removed to prevent leaking. However, having the water supply still on may create additional pressure, making it more difficult to remove and replace the filter. ^Jecca

Do any of the shelves in this unit have swing away options? My current fridge allows me to slide half of the shelf under the back half. Or are the shelves available to buy like this that I could replace on this unit?

My oven was delivered yesterday. The oven door is not aligned properly. The oven is level and square. The oven door removed and reinstalled w/o issue. The is not a problem w/ opening/closing. The door is not aligned with the oven. See pics.

Each time I cook it takes 20 minutes of heavy rubbing and scraping with a straight razor (manual recommended). I found the Weiman Cook Top Daily Cleaner at HomeDepot. Is there a better product I should be using?
