I am looking for a sound bar that specifically enhances voices. I find my Samsung TV seems to make background sound and music louder than the voices. Does this sound bar help with that? Are there specific sound setting within the soundbar?

Hi Trudga, This soundbar will increase the overall sound, but to enhance the dialogue you would need a soundbar with a center channel. These are noted by having 3.1 channels. The center speaker focuses on the voice so you can hear it clearly. The Samsung HW-T650 is the first soundbar with this speaker setup. How come my soundbar will randomly “turn off” while I am watching tv on my Samsung tv? It is connected via optical cable it came with. Very annoying.

Hi Adam, I'm sorry you are having an issue. Since optical cables are fiber and can get damaged, I would try to replace the cable to see if you are still having an issue. My Samsung TV model no. is - UN55J620DAF will it work with it? I only see two HDMI cable connections on my TV which both have something plugged into them already. There’s No ARC HDMI inputs. I’m not sure if my television has an optical cord connection...
