I have a Samsung Smart TV model UN65NU7100 without blue tooth. Will my TV remote control the soundbar so that I do not have to use 2 remotes? I plan on using HDMI cable hook up.

I have connected the soundbar with samsung tv with an optical cable. With the tv remote I can decrease the volume of the soundbar but while increasing only tv sound increases. How do I solve this problem?
