The Samsung freestanding range with a large 5.9 cu. ft. capacity oven can easily accommodate a big roast, multiple casserole dishes, or two racks of cookies. It also has a powerful and flexible cooktop with five heating elements, including two dual elements, to provide an element that accommodates multiple pan sizes, whether you're boiling water, melting chocolate, or simmering sauce. The self-cleaning setting has 3 different options, depending on your cleaning needs.
Can I use the cord from my old range on this one?
Great question, Dennis! Samsung does recommend replacing the cord when installing a new range. Over time, the cord can become worn and may not be safe to use. ^Jecca

I like idea of not having handles jut out, but read where doors had to be pushed hard to close. Has anyone had this pbm? Am particularly interested in comparison w/equivalent Samsung model WITH handles. Ideally want easy close (slight push), no slam.

Had a Bosch which i loved but moved.Like the Tuscan SS so considering this. Concern is drying. Any heating element to help that process?Have people who've had Bosch found this comparable? It looks to be a LOT noiser. How would it be in open concept condo?

Really ?s for Samsung rep:1) can you buy a sheet of Tuscan SS fr. Samsung to cover ugly space underneath?2) 2 Samsung DWs in Tuscan SS:1 is fingerprint proof & other isn't.What's difference in color, if any? Which matches EXACT color of Tuscan fridge?

No matter which feature I use on the oven as soon as I turn the unit on a fan starts running and it runs all the time, well after oven is off. It is pretty loud and annoying. Is this normal? Not one of my previous ranges were this loud (nor slide-in.)

How long is the clock timer ring? Is it just a one time ding or will it buzz until turned off?
Hi Henny! I checked the user manual for this model (https://bit.ly/3peuJcj). When using the kitchen timer feature, the range will beep once and display "END". When using the timed cooking feature, the range will beep 10 times and turn off the oven, unless the "keep warm" feature was also selected. ^Jecca
