Does Samsung place advertisements on screen that the owner can't remove or permanently disable? Is there a model that does not have advertisements? I've seen pictures in reviews online, and that is a complete deal breaker.

Hi Zac, there aren't ads (except commercials, product placements, etc) while you are watching TV, movies, etc. If you are browsing your smart platform choices however, you might notice a small ad between your streaming services and your menu options. I hope this helps. ^Scott
