Is there a power button or volume button on the TV or do you need to use the remote?

Hi kla! There is a physical button underneath the Samsung logo on the bottom bezel allowing you to power on/off, change channel, change source, adjust volume, and navigate the menu. ^Tim

Cable here is terrible, sometimes I need to use broadcast TV. 1) Can this TV receive regular, roof antenna broadcast TV and if so ... 2) How does one change channels with no buttons on the remote? Thank You.

Hi Gerry1! Yes, the TU8300 is compatible with an over the air antenna allowing you to access local TV broadcasts. The remote features channel up and down, as well as a "123" button which brings up an on screen keyboard allowing you to type in the channel you would like to jump to. The TV also features a channel list, and channel guide easily accessible by pressing Home, then navigating to Live TV. With the guide and channel list features you get an easy to read breakdown of the channels available and what is currently showing. ^Tim
