I have a samsung TV mounted to my wall already. Would I be able to mount the sound bar as well and still have all cables hidden behind the wall?

Hi there, I can't see your setup or where the power sources are, but the Samsung HW-Q60T 5.1ch Soundbar with 3D Surround Sound and Acoustic Beam (2020) comes with mounting brackets and only nees one cord to the power source and one to the TV. I hope this helped! ^Scott

When it states this sound bar is 5.1 does that mean it will work with additional speakers to expand to 5.1 or are there center and side speakers built into the center as this is just a 2.1 unit? Thanks for the clarification.

Hi there, 5.1 means there are 5 channels in front of the bar and one on the floor (subwoofer). If you were to add wireless rears to the soundbar it would be 7.1. Hope this helps! ^Scott

My TV is an older LG with at least 4 HDMI connections but not one of them is labeled HDMI ARC It does however have an optical cable out. Will this be sufficient to obtain Dolby Atmos conectivity until I can get a TV that fully supports?

Hi there, it's unlikely (almost impossible actually) an older TV will be able to pass Dolby Atmos. You might try sending the content source to the sound bar first then to the TV via HDMI. That should do the trick. I hope this helped! ^Scott

One of the reviews indicated that there were issues with voice clarity being drowned out by background movie noise. Is there an audio setting to improve this or could it be due to the original movie audio?

Hi Steve, There are many reasons this could happen. What you are looking for as far as audio clarity is concerned is a minimum of 3 channels. This has 9 so you're good there. Otherwise you would want to change the sound settings to something like "Amplify", or even "Night Mode". These will tend to accentuate dialogue while tuning down other channels. Does the base allow the screen too swivel?

Hi Nancy, bad news, the Samsung - 55" Class 8 Series LED 4K UHD Smart Tizen TV has legs, not a center stand and thus cannot swivel. The worse news is even our center stand TV's can't swivel. It is not an option many manufacturers use anymore. If you would like another option, Best Buy sells a swivel mount you can put on after the fact.
