I'm looking for a TV for a "Dark" room Has anyone had experience with this TV and screen going dark, unless room is well lighted IS it an VA TV with IPS glow?

My father-in-law likes to run picture slide shows using his USB drives, but has run into issues with other TVs that crash or fail to load most of his pictures. Does this Samsung have a limit on the gallery size or the number of pictures That can be loaded

Ryan - If your using a USB drive the TV will not be in Art Mode but you can do a slide show and it all depends on the format of your content if it will work ie : JPEG, PNG, BMP, MPO. The quantity for Art Mode will also depend on size of the photo as The Frame has a 2GB storage for photos. ^Jason

Is there a screen protector on the tv you have to peel off?

During GoT and some other shows, I could barely see the visually dark scenes on my old TV. Since I love fantasy and crime shows this happens a lot. Will this be a good choice for much better viewing? Does anyone have a better suggestion?
