I am installing 50” Samsung smart tv. I am planning to run a wire from the back of the tv (hdmi) to the router/modem. The router does not have a hdmi port. What do I need to,accomplish this..

Do I need a Samsung Smart Hub device to connect this TV to Alexa or not? I've seen both answers and a bit confused.
