Monk - There is not an app specificly for Apple AirPods support , however you can use the remote to control the volume wile paired to your AirPods. ^Jason

Is there a mounting diagram available for this unit? I want to mount this in my travel trailer and there is already a mount installed so

glblack, the 43TU8000 uses a wall mount with a VESA Standard of 200mm x 200mm. The width from the mounting holes to the outside of the 43TU8000 is 15" on each side. The distance from the top mounting hole to the top of the TV is 3.67". The distance from the bottom mounting hole to the bottom of the TV is 10.3". The distance between the top and bottom mounting holes is 7.87". ^Gina

Can I connect the optical audio output to a PCM two-channel DAC to connect to my integrated amplifier? It does not have 5.1 channel capabilities.

Hey Frank you can utilize the optical audio out put on the TU8000 witch will output 5.1. How ever you would need a DSP with optical input to get your 5.1 analog to use on your integrated amp.
