connection problem
How to connect a Samsung soundbar to tv with a cable box and blue ray DVD player
bigleo,
You have a few options.
The audio bar has an HDMI input, an optical input and a AUX-in (analog) input.
Most DVD players on the market today will have an optical cable, so we'd recommend connecting the audio from your DVD player to the optical input on the audio bar.
Assuming your cable box has an audio out RCA port (and it would be hard to imagine that there's one that doesn't have the red-and-white audio RCA outputs), you may need an RCA to 3.5mm audio cable (purchased separately). Using that configuration, connect the RCA side of the cable to the cable/sat box, and the 3.5mm into the AUX-IN input.
That way, if you get a Blu-Ray player, game console or other HDMI connected input, you can still connect that device to your audio bar.
Thanks for your interest in Samsung products.
