Sound Quality

Hi. I see an earlier question about sound share. How is the sound on this being a flat screen? Also I don't have the option of using a sound bar or surround sound speakers with this tv?
The UN65FH6001 does not have audio outputs, so only the television speakers will produce the audio. Sound Share is not available on this model.

Samsung - Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 - 8GB - White
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0: Jump right into using your tablet with the familiar Galaxy interface and wireless integration for syncing your contacts, music, apps and more. The super-clear screen sharpens your multimedia experience, and the Smart Remote feature lets you use your tablet as a universal remote for your home entertainment system.

Is the Tab3 8GB capable of getting Updates to the latest Android version?

I thought I read somewhere that some tablets were not capable of accepting the latest version of Android, that now has the ability to create User Profiles for a tablet that different family members share. Can this one be updated, assuming there is a valid WIFI connection ??
Thanks
In many cases, you can either manually attempt an update, or wait for the Android device to inform you that an update is ready.

Compatible with Samsung camera vg-stc3000

No, the VG-STC3000 is only compatible with 2012 LED-EH6030, EH6070, ES6500 and above models.

I wish we had a better answer, but that's the limitation of the television.

Can thisTV be mounted in an enclosed cabinet in RV without adding new sound system?

Are the speakers on TV in the rear of chassis? We are converting from CRT unit in motorhome to a flat screen LED. Need input before purchasing TV.
This television can be in an enclosed cabinet, but for the real test, check it out live in the store. The only real decision process for a question of, "is it going to be loud enough", is your judgment.

We think it will be loud enough, but ultimately you'll want to test it first.

Surround Sound

Hello, i intend to connect this tv (which i just bought yesterday to the sonos system). The question is, will this tv output (or play) 5.1 through its digital optical out since the only way to connect this tv to the sonos is through the digital optical out. thanks
No, a 5.1 signal will not pass through the television using the optical input. The audio signal will downgrade to a 2.1 or 2.0 signal.

If you have a Blu-Ray player or cable/sat box that will be decoding a 5.1 signal, connect that device directly to your audio system using the optical cable.

If your Sonos system is a single-speaker option only, then just connect the TV to the audio system, even if it is a 2.1 signal. A 5.1 stream will require 5.1 speakers and decoding.

What do I get for 2 Grand more???

Like a previous question: "What the major differences or upgrades from the previous 8000 Series, 75 inch Samsung smart tv?" I would like to know what specifically am I getting in the 8000 compared to the 7100 series?
Upgrading from the F7100 to the F8000 model gives you the following features:

- Upgrades you from a Dual Core processor to a Quad Core processor
- Upgrades you from a TM1360 Smart Touch remote to the TM1390 Smart Touch remote
- The F8000 Includes the camera on the television. The F7100 needs the VG-STC3000 camera, and that camera device is separately purchased
- The F8000 model allows you to upgrade to the new Smart Evolution Kit next year. The F7100 Smart TV platform will not get the new features that will be available in 2014 (though the Apps will still work fine!)
- Smart Interaction on the F8000
- MicroDimming feature upgrades from "Regular" to "Ultimate with Precision Black Pro (which is two upgrades)
- The Clear Motion Rate rating goes to 1200. The F7100 has a rating of 720.

That covers most of the differences between the two.

Samsung - 51" Class (50-3/4" Diag.) - Plasma - 1080p - Smart - 3D - HDTV
Samsung - 51" Class (50-3/4" Diag.) - Plasma - 1080p - Smart - 3D - HDTV
This Samsung PN51F8500AFXZA 51" plasma 3D HDTV features vibrant 1080p resolution. To build a complete 3D home theater system, we recommend you purchase a 3D Blu-ray player, high-speed HDMI cable and an A/V receiver that is compatible with 3D products.

I'm sure like all thin TV's this TV needs a soundbar, which one do you recommend? I am predisposed to not adding an additional remote

The remote for the television and the remote for the audio bar - even Samsung branded audio bars - will have different codes so that one remote doesn't control two volume controls on two different devices.

One way to use one remote is to get a good universal remote - like a Logitech Harmony remote - that allows you to program the volume button to always control one device.

That said, Samsung has a great selection of audio bars this year that will compliment your television.

Thanks for your interest in Samsung products.
