audio output

the audio output seems to be blocked with a black square with a hole in the middle; what kind of jack should I use?

That's the digital optical audio port, and it's just a hinged cover. When you insert a digital optical audio cable, it will disappear, and then re-appear when the cable is withdrawn.

How does 720p look on this 4k set

My cable company/box has 720p HD channels, don't think they will be upgrading soon. I know this set like other 4k sets will upscale 720, 480, 1080, etc to quasi 4K to fill screen, but from what I had read about 4k TV's in general, this up conversion process makes the picture quality worse, vs watching 720 on a 1080 set. Any thoughts/opinions on how the non 4K content looks on this set, or others.??

It's best to always send the highest resolution signal to the TV from the source. 720 and higher will generally look really good. It's 420i/p where there's a lot of digital noise because the TV has to determine and assign colors to each pixel based on the incoming signal.

They can be connected, but the most common connection required on the computer is an HDMI output. The TV doesn't support a VGA signal.

Can I use an Toshiba DVR620 VHS player with JS9000FXZA?

I am looking at the 4K SUHD JS9000FXZA TV and also an Toshiba DVR620 DVD/VCR combo. I need to know if I can watch VHS tapes on this TV with the Toshiba combo unit. I know that it will not be in SUHD quality. Is there a product that I can use for this TV that will allow me to watch VHS tapes. Thanks.

I do not see viewing angles listed on the website, and other 32" TVs, some for less money, boast 178 degree viewing angles.

Samsung doesn't advertise viewing angles, but most visible seats that people would use are great seats.

can it be fully wireless with a vizeo?

I bought this with a samsung 7000 tv and it was wireless i didn't have to connect any other cables. It seems like i have to connect an optical cable to the vizeo now for it to work. Does that sound right?

Unless the Vizio has Bluetooth audio, it may require an optical cable for audio.

Will this blu-ray player work with my logitech mini wireless keyboard remote?

I have the Logitech Mini Controller for Logitech Revue and Google TV and I want to know if it is compatible with the BD-H6500/ZA.
