wireless adapter for Samsung TV Model# UN55D6000
I have the original wireless adapter (model# WIS09ABGNX/XAA) that came with the TV. the Smart features has never worked well (especially Netflix) and is constantly rebuffering, if working at all. All my other devices in the house get excellent wireless connections.
Would purchasing a newer wireless adapter (WIS12ABGNX/XAA) help to get better reception?

It's possible that it could go either way. What we don't know - at least based on what's posted here - is why this device isn't offering consistent streaming or why it is rebuffering. Naturally, it would seem that your LinkStick would be the cause, since it's the only device on your network that you stated doesn't perform well.
Some of the things you might look at are cordless phones and microwaves in the proximity. Another may be the channel of your router just isn't working as well as another channel might, and that can sometimes be changed (although we recommend having a network specialist work on that, since changing channels on your router may be easy or hard, depending on your experience level).
That said, let's just say that you want to try to see if this new LinkStik will work: there is a return policy and that may help you have either an improvement, or at least not be out additional money as a result.
The WIS12ABGNX is a newer model, so it's quite possible that some improvements may be in play.
