it say that the samsung is direct tv ready , can i do away with the set up box?

hi please help me to enjoy my samsung chromebook.my problem is i has a yahoo account i get encrypted emails an i has chromestore apps to open an upload bur none of these works what to do please help thanks.

I purchased this unit and cannot find the outlet to connect to the home theater speakers. I want to watch movies with good audio .

This Blu-Ray player can be connected to a Home Theater system.

The unit itself doesn't power the speakers - rather, it would connect to an audio receiver that can amplify the audio signal so that there's power for the speakers.

A receiver with an HDMI pass-through, or by using the Coaxial Digital Audio Out jack are the two ways this can be connected to a receiver.

how to hook up Note 10.1/2014 Edition to HDMI projector?

i have Note 101/2014 edition that I want to be able to hook up to Brookstone pocket projector that takes HDMI only input. Samsung support chat line says there is not any adapter available. Will a micro USB to HDMI cable work at 1080 resolution?

Your projector would have to either support a lower resolution, or an adapter would need to be made available to upconvert the resolution.

In this case, the chat line answer is correct.

whats the best way to learn how to use the samsung-galaxy note 10.1 2014 edition

Using it can be pretty straightforward for many people. Learning the basic buttons and the touchscreen options is something most people start to get the hang of pretty quickly.

Others may use YouTube videos, or look for "Guide to Android" type books, and those are great options as well.

It would depend on the file types in your library.

Some movie files - especially rare ones - may need to be re-encoded. But many formats will be supported on this model. This is designed to be a central place for storing files in your network.

Transferring photos from my digital camera directly to Samsung Chromebook

I have been researching laptops and have almost come to the conclusion that this product would offer me just about everything I need at a great price. My only issue is whether I can upload photos from my Nikon Coolpix camera Model S4300, as I know one can't instal software onto a Chromebook, only apps available from Google.

There are a couple of options that can work out in your favor with a Chromebook and a digital camera. Not just "Apps from Google" will work - there are lots of 3rd party software authors who have titles available for download.

Some cameras have the ability to upload picture to a cloud - you can access the cloud with your Chromebook.

Pictures can also be stored on a memory card, which can be plugged into the Chromebook.

If your camera can act as a virtual drive, you may be able to copy the files from your camera through the USB - although, your camera's manufacturer would be able to speak on that feature, and if your specific camera had it.
