Hi, Gunner. There are mainline power differences between the USA and the rest of the world. There are also different formatting requirements for these different countries. This formatting may be incompatible with the TV. Before the customer decides to take the TV out of the country, please make these considerations:
The USA is on an 110v 60hz power standard, whereas most other countries use a 240v 50hz standard. A converter would be needed to power the TV in a country using the 240v system.
The USA uses the NTSC and ATSC broadcasting format. Most, but not all, countries use the PAL. TVs purchased in the USA are not compatible with the PAL broadcasting system without a converter.
The US standard frame rate is 30 frames per second (FPS), whereas the PAL standard is 25 FPS.
