Is there a more eco friendly version of the pads? A reusable option? Can I use a more eco friendly/ crawling baby friendly cleaner in it? Are these options that could become available? Because I would buy ASAP

We would like to let you know that there is only one type of pad available for the Vacmop. It is not recommended to use other cleaners in the Vacmop. Our cleanser has been specially formulated to provide a residue-free, streak free finish and is also 99.5% water and is non-toxic. Using other cleaning solutions may result in streaking and residue and depending on the cleaner it may be too thick to spray.

does the VACMOP actually suck up liquids or is it merely absorbed by the pad?

We would like to let you know that the Vacmop can safely be used on all sealed hard floors, stone, hardwood, vinyl, laminate, tile, marble, and linoleum. It works great at cleaning. There is a Multi-Surface Cleaner that would work great on your laminate floors.
