Hi - The expansion handset compatible with the VTech CS5119-2 is the model VTech CS5109. The telephone base can have up to 5 cordless handsets.

Hi, my monitor vtech VM5271 said "PU or BU SECID is not exist" and the link light turn on and off. Why this is happening and what can i do to fix it ? Thank you

Diana - We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with the VTech VM5271. Try to reset the unit by disconnected the power to both parent and baby unit (remove battery on the parent unit, if there is any). Wait for one minute before reconnecting the AC power back in then test the unit again. If this does not help, please contact our Consumer Sales and Service Center between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM Monday through Friday at 1-800-595-9511.

i have no cell service in my home. will the calls come through still if i connect my cell to this phone if it is connected to a landline?

Maria - If your cell phone has poor reception in your home, the DS6771-3 cannot improve the reception. However, if there is a location in your house with better reception, you can leave your cell phone at that location while using the cell line. Please note that the telephone base must be within 15 feet of the cell phone for the connect to cell feature to work.
