How do you keep it still? It keeps wobbling and I wanna keep it centered and stabilized when I’m recording a video on my iPhone? Anyone have a solution I would love to hear it.

Only the three legs should be touching the surface/table. The center pole slides up.

Could someone tell me the measurements of the feet? Like how far apart they are. I use this a lot, but especially when I'm using my silhouette and I want to buy a riser for my desk to put it up on it so it stops being in the way of the cutting mat.

When measuring bottom outside leg to outside leg it is 8 inches.

When I spread the legs to form a tripod, the center shaft is too long and strikes the table. I can't find a way to slide the center shaft up. The instructions say "loosen the collar" but I can't find a collar. What am I missing?

The center pole does push up. There is a collar at the top of the legs that you will grasp to gently push down. Simply hold the tripod with the center pole touching the table and push down on the collar, the center pole will slide and you will be able to place the three legs flat on the surface.

Can you angle your phone downward in this tripod for an overhead shot? Say if you were a teacher trying to record yourself writing on a paper?

Yes you can. The tripod mount is a ball head and can swivel to point in a downward position. Use the tightening screw to secure in the position you want.
