Hi Barb, This charger will not work with the EN-EL23 battery. You will need to use Best Buy item number 4290758. That is the charger for the EN-EL23 battery for your camera.

How does it work

When you receive the lens, both lenses are attached together. As one unit, the lens is in the 4K Wide Angle mode - Clip it to your phone over the phone lens (make sure you center it), set your phone to camera or video and you will see the wide angle. For Macro photography, screw off the Wide Angle lens gently. Get very close to the small object and adjust distance to see the Macro range.
