No it will not. You need a Bower CH-G27 to charge the LP-E5 battery in the T1i.

The product photos are not clear on this. Does the product come with the attachment to hold the phone and will it work with a case on the phone.? Is the selfie button also Bluetooth activated?

It comes with a phone holder, will work with a case and the remote comes attached to the leg (you can use it there for selfies) and it detaches for remote use.
