Doug, it would be your preference to position unit on a corner, however, the width of the TV stand is 54 inches.

If I were to put a Samsung 60" 4k Ultra tv on this stand, how tall would it be, from floor to the top? I need the top of the set to be at about 66" from the ground. Thank you

It will depend on the actual height of your television and where the holes for mounting are located; the overall height of the stand is 55.75 inches, this is to the tip of the monitor brackets (need to be centered on the back of your TV) with the Swiveling Bracket on the highest position. When it says "fits Tvs up to 58 inches", does that mean the screen size or total width of the TV? I just ordered a 65" inch TV and the width is 57.9"

Peter, it refers to the screen size of the TV; this TV stand is only 50" W, it will not accommodate your television.

Will middle shelf hold my 54lb center speaker? My reciever will only fit on the top shelf, so my options are limited. Anyone know the glass thickness?
