Water Supply and Lines
The refrigerator requires installation to a cold water supply. Use 1/4"" (6.35 mm) O.D. soft copper or PEX tubing for connection, and leave a service loop for maintenance.
Check for kinks in the water supply line, which can reduce flow. Straighten the line to restore pressure and avoid pushing the refrigerator too far against the wall or cabinet, which could pinch the line.

Water Filter Replacement
A clogged or incorrectly installed water filter can restrict water flow to the ice maker and dispenser, resulting in low ice production and slowed water flow.
It is recommended that the Whirlpool water filter be replaced every 6 months, when the indicator light comes on, or as needed. Whirlpool recommends using everydrop® water filters.
