is this a good substitute for your toaster? Ive heard that it takes twice as long to toast bread...is that correct?
The Breville® BOV845 Smart Oven® Pro does have a TOAST function similar to that of a toaster.

The basket used for the grounds on the Breville® BDC400 Precision Brewer™ Glass does slide out for filling or emptying. However the water tank would need to be filled from above.

Looking for a coffee maker that does not have to be loaded from top, either water or coffee grinds. Top cabinets in the way. Loved my Ninja until they changed design
The filter basket for grounds on the Breville® BDC400 Precision Brewer™ Glass can easily be slid out from the side to both fill and empty it. However the water tank would need to be filled from the top.

Can I cover the crumb tray with a "Silchef" baking sheet liner?
It is not recommended that the crumb tray for the Breville® BOV900 Smart Oven® Air be covered with anything while in operation due to it's very close proximity to the lower heating elements.
