I don't see any mention of the word "convection" which is what I'm looking for. What kind of heating does this model use?
The Breville® BOV845 Smart Oven® Pro utilized quartz heating elements and a convection fan for heating items cooked within. The convection fan is optional.

Back panel of oven has 2 "clip-like" pieces of notched hard rubber that protrude from the bottom of the oven that appear to be designed for for storing excess length of electrical cord. Is this the correct use for these clips?
No these rubber stoppers on the back of the Breville® BOV450 Smart Oven® Mini are placed there are bumpers to prevent the oven resting against the wall.

Are the pull out racks and trays dishwasher safe? If so, top or bottom rack or both?
it is not recommended that the racks and crumb tray of the Breville® BOV860 Smart Oven® Air Fryer be washed in the dishwasher as the detergents can drastically reduce the life span of them.

We have no information on the fit and function of the Breville® BOV900AMB Mesh Baskets™ in any appliance other then those they are intended for, the BOV900 Smart Oven® Air.

Wondering how this would work in place of a toaster oven. My SO is not confident replacing our toaster oven in place of this will suffice in replicating his toaster oven capabilities (he mainly uses the convection/air). Thoughts?
The Breville® BMO870 Combi Wave™ Microwave does have an Air Fry function and Convection and can use both well. It does not, however have a toast function.
