Does the laptop has USB ports in both sides of it?

No. All ports on this Intel Evo-Certified, Lenovo Yoga 9i 14 model number 82BG0090US are on the left side of the computer. These ports are: 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2, 2x USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 / Thunderbolt 4 (support data transfer, Power Delivery 3.0, DisplayPort 1.4 and Always On), 1x Headphone / microphone combo jack (3.5mm). The internal active pen garage for the Yoga 9i 14 model's included, rechargeable active/digital pen, takes up the space on the right side that any ports would occupy.

Looks like this laptop has an HDMI port correct? And how can I plug a second monitor if there isn't a mini HDMI port?

This Intel Evo-Certified, Lenovo Yoga 9i 14 model number 82BG0090US, does not have an HDMI port. This model ships with 2x USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 / Thunderbolt 4 (support data transfer, Power Delivery 3.0, DisplayPort 1.4 and Always On) ports, with video out capability to external monitors. The Yoga 9i 14 supports up to 3 independent displays (native display and 2 external monitors via Thunderbolt) Thunderbolt supports up to 5120x3200@60Hz. I have it. The wifi link speed is always below other devices. The internet almost always runs pretty unreliably. Zoom keeps giving unstable connection warnings. Have tried everything even reinstalling windows but to no avail. What should I do now???

Be sure that the BIOS files and drivers including those drivers supporting WiFi are up to date once you know you have the latest version of Windows installed on the computer. Use Lenovo Vantage which is installed on this computer to check for all other available updates for your computer once you have updated Windows. Restart the computer after installing any updates. Try the WiFi connection again. A video conferencing APP will be dependent on the quality of the broadcast signal so try connecting to the internet and use a different APP, one not prone to be overloaded like a group meeting on a video conferencing APP. If the connection remains stable, the problem is with the video conferencing APP, broadcast side. If the connection problem continues with any internet connection, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support for additional help at: 877-453-6686.

I assume there is no software preloaded on the PC. Option is to buy the Microsoft student/family/individual separately and renew that each year. Other option is to use Google docs. Can you advise. Thx.
