It will not display the time, weather or temperature. the alarm function will also not work the only thing that works is the Google assistant nothing else on this clock will work.

The clock doesn't show the time on the screen and I cannot cast anything to it. On the Home app only says "unable to play music on this device at the moment". And other apps like Spotify can't even "see" it to cast. What should I do?

would this laptop work for my granddaughter to use for a GED class and some online classes?
That really will depend on the APPs your daughter will need to use. The Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15 Laptop, model number 81W1018XUS, ships with Windows 10 S-Mode 64-bit Operating System. Windows 10 S-Mode provides added security by only allowing APPs available ( and therefore certified by Microsoft) at the Microsoft Store. If you don't need the added security or you need to install APPs not available at the Microsoft Store, you can switch to standard Windows 10 Home 64-bit Operating System, at no additional cost.
