No sound on my laptop

Be sure that your system speakers are off mute. Hold down the Fn Key and tap the HotKey in the F1 position on your keyboard. This toggles the system audio on/off. Then try holding down the Fn Key and tapping the HotKey in the F3 position on your keyboard to increase system audio volume up.
