Be sure the battery has sufficient charge to boot the computer. Plug the AC adapter/charger into the wall socket, then into the dedicated charging port on the computer. This is a barrel-type port on the computer with an electric plug icon next to it. Let the computer charge for at least 15-minutes. There is an LED light near the charging port on the computer. If power is flowing to the computer the LED will light up. If you do not see the LED light up, the problem may be with the AC adapter/charger. We recommend you take the computer and the AC adapter/charger to your local Best Buy and have the Geek Squad examine it. You may need to call ahead to an appointment with the Geek Squad. If you have charged the computer but it still will not boot, try resetting your computer back to original factory settings. This system is equipped with OneKey Recovery System. There is a very small pin hole on the right side of the device, right in between the headphone jack and the SD card slot on the device. You will need a pin to push this reset button. Plug the device in. Let the battery charge for about 15 minutes. Push the reset button. The system should boot to a choice screen where you can choose "Restore To Factory Default". Select this. It will delete everything from the hard drive except the original factory install of the operating system. You will need to reinstall all programs and files after the reset. If you don't have copies of the files, try to make one before you restore by selecting "Boot to desktop" and trying to back up your files. If the problem persists after the factory reset, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.
