Hi there, The Lenovo Legion 5 Gaming Desktop is user upgradable to 128 GB or ram with four slots. The storage is also upgradable, this model ships with a M.2 NVMe drive and a Sata drive pre-installed. The PSU is rated at 400w. This model is not user upgradable. A certified technician must do all of the work, so as to not void the warranty. We recommend you consult with your certified technician about your storage upgrade options.

A USB-C to HDMI cable from the Surface Dock worked with my old Acer monitor. The same cable is not working on this monitor. However, a mini display port to HDMI is giving an output from the Surface Book. Any thoughts why this might be the case?

The Lenovo Q24i-10 Monitor has an HDMI 1.4 version connection. It is possible the USB-c to HDMI requires a later generation HDMI port. Is it possible to try a direct HDMI to HDMI connection from the computer to the monitor to establish that the monitor is functioning properly?
