You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan” In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. Does this device have a backup battery? I would not buy the original Smart Clock because it lacked this essential feature.

This device does not have a battery backup. in the event of a brief power outage your Smart Clock's repeating alarm data will remain intact. When the device powers back on your alarm will still sound.

Is the temperature displayed the indoor temperature or outdoor from the internet temperature?

While the unit itself does not have an indoor temperature sensor if you have a smart thermostat in your home it can 1. Tell you the indoor temperature. 2. Tell you the temperature that is set on the thermostat. 3. Adjust the temperature of the thermostat. Just say "Okay google what's the temperature inside?"

Is it able to do Family Bells? My original version Lenovo Smart Clock does not work with the Family Bells.

How do you dim the clock display? What is the voice command? I have only been able to dim the night light.

Hello, thanks for your question. Try, “Hey Google, set the screen brightness to 50” and it’ll dim to 50 percent of its max brightness. The Display has 3 brightness levels total.
