The Lenovo ThinkPad E15 laptop ships with a 30-day trial of McAfee virus protection. There is also free Windows Defender virus protection software that is included as part of Windows 10 Operating System. You do not need to use McAfee. You can uninstall McAfee and then install any 3rd party virus protection you choose.

Yes you can leave the Lenovo Yoga V940-4K model plugged in. It is recommend you use the Battery Conservation Mode Power Management setting to help prolong the overall life of the internal battery. This software will only let the battery charge to 60-percent, even though the computer is plugged in all the time.

Is this laptop good for live streaming music?
That will depend on the requirements and compatibility of the streaming service you will use. We recommend you check with the streaming service web site for their compatibility with Windows 10 S-Mode 64-bit operating system (Windows 10 S-Mode provides added security by only allowing APPs available ( and therefore certified by Microsoft) at the Microsoft Store.
