Does it come with any security?
There is a 30-day trial of McAfee virus protection software on this model. To keep the protection active after the trial period, you will need to purchase a subscription. You do not need to use McAfee. You can install any 3rd. party virus protection software, after you have uninstalled McAfee from the computer. There is also Windows Defender on this computer that is part of the Windows 10 Operating System. It is turned off at the factory since the McAfee software is the active protection on the computer from the factory.
