No, the memory is soldered to the motherboard on this model.

Is the backlight in the keyboard will go off automatically because in my y530 the backlight always on , can any one help to trun it off automatically if it not used

You will need to turn off the backlighting on the keyboard manually by holding down the Fn key then tapping the space bar, or put the device in Sleep Mode or turn the device off. The backlight on the keyboard defaults to off when the device goes into the Sleep or off mode.

What is the max RAM it supports (I know there is 4GB onboard so how much can you install in the slot) and is there an extra slot for an SSD?

Please keep in mind, this model is not user upgradable. A certified technician must do all of the work, so as to not void the warranty. Your certified technician can replace the 4GB of RAM in the one memory slot within this configuration and replace it with an 8GB RAM stick for a system total of 12GB RAM. There is no extra slot for a second hard drive within this configuration.
