I put the filter on as “Backlit Keys”, so I click on this and look at the specifications and the product says that there are no backlit Keys. Are there backlit Keys or not?

No. Model number 81F5018TUS does not have a backlit keyboard.

This laptop runs Windows 10 in S mode. That's a problem for me as I need a machine that will allow me to install any software I need. What are my options for running this machine in another version of Windows while retaining 64bit compatibility?

Is the 4 GB of RAM expandable

Model number 81MV0001US is not user upgradable. A certified technician must do all of the work, so as to not void the warranty. There is 4GB of RAM soldered to the motherboard. Additionally there is one RAM memory slot that can support 8GB RAM stick, so your certified technician can add 8GB to make the system total 12GB.
