Does this computer operate quietly? Yoga 720 had loud fan issues? How is 730?

This is a high performance system with its Quad-Core/Eight-Thread Intel Core i5-8250U processor, 8GB of RAM and a 256GB solid state hard drive. It will generate heat whenever it is turned on, even at idle, this is normal. The onboard fan will maintain the proper operating temperature for the device. You will hear the fan whenever it runs, this too is normal.

Is this computer good for taking photos off a camera and viewing them ?

That will depend on the camera/memory card are compatible with this model. There is only a 32GB solid state hard drive on this device, so storage space is limited. Also with pictures would need to be compatible with Windows 10 to be able to view them.
