Any chance I can play CDs on this computer or a port that can play CDs. How good are the speakers?

Model number 81D1003TUS does have a CD/DVD-RE drive built in. There are two stereo 1.5W speakers and Dolby Audio enhancement software. There is no Media Player software pre-installed on the device. You can write files to CDs and DVDs but you will not be able to play commercial CDs or DVDs without Media Player software of some type. You can add this if you choose. The audio quality is entry level laptop quality. Good but no audiophile quality.
