The AMD Ryzen 5 1400 processor within this model is a 4-core/8-thread processor. It has a base speed of 3.2GHz and a boost speed of up to 3.4GHz. The Intel Core I-3 Family of processors does not have a "boost" speed similar to this AMD Ryzen 5 1400 processor.
