Would a Canon Mg 2920 series printer be compatible with this?
That will depend on the requirements and compatibility of the printer. The Lenovo IdeaPad 130-15 is compatible with any printer that is compatible with Windows 10 S-Mode or Windows 10 Home. Windows 10 S-Mode provides added security by only allowing APPs available ( and therefore certified by Microsoft) at the Microsoft Store. If you don't need the added security or you need to install APPs not available at the Microsoft Store, you can switch to standard Windows 10 Home 64-bit Operating System, at no additional cost. We recommend you check with the printer manufacturer's web site for their compatibility with Windows 10 S-Mode 64-bit operating system and the minimum/recommended hardware requirements (Is a Graphics card required, the processor speed and the minimum required system RAM and the minimum available hard drive space) to run their program, then compare those requirements to this system's configuration.

Can I use this as white noise machine? Downloading some white noise music and play it in loop?
Yes, you are able to. You should also be able to simply request that sound by saying "Hey Google! Play white noise", once your device is connected to a Spotify or Pandora account. You can also cast from your phone if you prefer controlling from that.

What services does it stream videos from? Is there a way to disable streaming video functions on this? I’m nervous about giving my kids full access to YouTube videos in the room.
Hi there! Thank you for your question. The Lenovo Smart Clock does not stream YouTube or other video services. The only current video function with the device is for home security systems. So you need not worry about the kids getting access to YouTube.

Do you need a Google Home for this clock to work?
You will only need the Google Home app on your phone for initial setup and for some of the settings and features, otherwise you do not need a full Google Home to use the Smart Clock.
