The Lenovo IdeaCentre 510A desktop ships in many configurations. This particular configuration model number 90HV001MUS is a new configuration, first available March, 2019.

The M.2 slot is not empty. The 16GB Intel Optane Memory occupies this slot. Please keep in mind, this model is not user upgradable. A certified technician must do all of the work, so as to not void the warranty.

How is Optane drive connected to motherboard. that is the 1.form factor , 2. bus and 3.interface of optane drive.

There is no open slot for a second hard drive. You could replace the existing standard hard drive with a compatible solid state hard drive.

No optical type does this mean no dvd either play or record ?
There is no CD/DVD drive within this model.
