I def need clarification does this laptop ship with 8gb or 16gb of ram? Seems can’t get a straight answer? Also is ram solder, most laptops you can just add It. Also on Lenovo website adding ram on your own doesn’t void warranty that info is false. Thx

This model is not user upgradable. A certified technician must do all of the work, so as to not void the warranty. Model number 80YY0074US ships with 16GB of DDR4-2400MHz RAM. There are two memory slots within this configuration, the RAM is not soldered.

Does the laptop heat up when listening to music and browsing the internet? I hope that putting the laptop on my lap wouldn't be too heat. The last laptop I tried had a heating problem.

This system will generate heat whenever it is turned on, even at idle, this is normal. The onboard fan will maintain the proper operating temperature for the device, automatically, just be sure to always keep the venting ports clear. The device will become warm to the touch under normal operation.

You would need to find a compatible replacement for the AMD Radeon R5 340 GPU that the system ships with.
