Is this computer good for taking photos off a camera and viewing them ?

That will depend on the camera/memory card are compatible with this model. There is only a 32GB solid state hard drive on this device, so storage space is limited. Also with pictures would need to be compatible with Windows 10 to be able to view them.

How do you use the page up/page down keys? They're on the arrow keys but I can't figure out how to use them.

The page up arrow keys are dual function. The arrow up and down key will move the selection up one unit at a time, with each click of the arrow. It you hold down the Fn key and use the Page Up/Page Down feature now, the Page up feature will go to the top/bottom of the page.

This is a high performance system with its Quad-Core/Eight-Thread Intel Core i5-8250U processor, 8GB of RAM and a 256GB solid state hard drive. It will generate heat whenever it is turned on, even at idle, this is normal. There will be heat generated while the device is charging as well, this too is normal.

ATT Lenovo Product Expert Re Upgrade RAM/HHD I called Len. support They said warranty remains INTACT if I upgrade I was told only the changed storage/RAM is no longer under warranty rest of hardware and system is. Is this right No BB/Total Tech warranty.

This model is not user upgradable. A certified technician must do all of the work, so as to not void the warranty.
