No. There is no ethernet port on this device. You can use a USB to ethernet adapter with this device to connect an ethernet cable to this computer.

The Lenovo IdeaCentre 510A desktop does have an internal cooling fan. Processors are much more efficient today. The onboard fan will maintain the proper operating temperature for the device. You will hear the fan whenever it runs, this is normal.

Is this tablet compatible with HDMI or VGA?

On the Tab 4, 10." you can use a Micro USB to HDMI ,MHL adaptor cable to connect to a newer Smart TV. You can tell if this will work by checking the HDMI port on the TV for a MHL logo above it. If it has the MHL logo, you are ready to go. You can also "cast " to a newer smart TV with a Chromecast chip built in it.

What is the highest Android OS you can install on this tablet? ASUS was restrictive on upgrading past a certain version of Android for their tablets.

The Lenovo Tab 4, 10.1" is an Android 7.0 ( upgradable to 8.0) tablet.

I enjoy the pictures very much as they change, but would like to add more. Is there a pamphlet of “Lenovo For Dummies” ? This Guide is basically useless as it is such small printing, I can’t see it. I LIKE this , but I want to LOVE it. !!!

I want to set one of these up for a elderly mother to populate a google calendar so she knows whats happening each week. I know it can display a calendar if you ask. But can you default it to always show a calendar?

Does this product support 4G sim card in it? Does all features of an android phone applicable to this ?

The Tab 4, 10.1" does not support sim cards/LTE.

There are several versions of the Tab 4, 10.1" this one has 32G of system storage.

WHY DOES COMPUTER START UP SLOW?

This system should boot up from off, to the Windows 10 desktop in less than 40 seconds. Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programing errors have occurred.
