Hi I would use this computer for work mainly doing presentations in homes to potential clients would this laptop be fast and efficient for the programs designed to accomplish such tasks?

This is an entry level, light use system with its Intel Celeron processor. It is not meant for multi-tasking or demanding programs. It is good for light work with Microsoft Office and light internet browsing. It would not be good for long or graphics intensive PowerPoint Presentations. If this describes your computing needs, the IdeaPad 330-15 would be a good choice.
