Is the USB Type C port data transfer only or does it power the laptop too? Specifically I am looking to connect a dock for data and power.

The Lenovo IdeaPad 330s-15 laptop uses a dedicated power port. The USB-c port does not charge the computer.

I have an HP OfficeJet Pro 6978 printer/copier/scanner/web with a cable; can I use that cable to physically hook the 6978 up to this computer or do I need to do something else (I.E. buy an adapter or a wireless connector)?

If the cable is a USB cable and the printer is compatible with Windows 10, you should be able to connect and pair this computer to the printer. We recommend you check with the printer manufacturer for compatibility and pairing instructions for a new Windows 10 computer.

How to get the dvd operating

Open the CD/DVD-RW tray, put in a writable disc, close the tray and you are ready to copy files to the writable disc. Please note, there is no Media Player/Creator software installed with Windows 10 Home on this device. You will not be able to play/create a commercial/playable disc without this Media Player/Creator Software. This includes playing a commercial DVD movie.

Aloha, In two areas, it says this has 4 GB of ram and in the description, it says 8 GB. Can you tell me which it has?
