Hi .would this laptop be sufficient to be used for taking online classes/degree?

This is an entry level, light use system. It uses Windows 10 Home 32-Bit as its operating system, which requires less than 1GB of RAM to run. There is a 32GB solid state hard drive for quick boot up and quick loading of programs and files. This device has the latest WiFi capability, with 802.11AC connectivity. I complete the Windows update: 1. finger scan doesn't work and 2. Windows Hello is not compatible? I un, re, install finger scanner from Lenovo website and it does nothing. Device Manager says up to date but Synaptic WDBI has warning sign.

I've had other issues before with other laptops, one being an EMMC type, sense this is a solid slate drive, can I update it if I need more storage?
