I didnt get my prior question answered properly. Why is the platinum model $150 more ($1599) that the gray model ($1749) even though they have the same exact configuration?

I am currently shopping for a laptop I can use for MDiv studies. Is there a recommendation for an external hardrrive that I can use to save course/ research work? I think this is the laptop for me.
You can use any Windows 10 compatible external hard drive that connects via USB port with this device.
