does the laptop have to be plugged in order to function or is it just charged?thnx.

There is a battery within this laptop, so you can charge the battery and work on battery power, unplugged. This model has a battery life of up to approximately 3 hours, depending on the work the device is doing.

I jut got this computer from bestbuy but i am having issues with the touchpad, it does not recognize the 2 finger scrolling, so my question is if my touchpad is defective or this computer does not have that feature?
